i d/l several video's but every time i attempt to play them i get the following error mesage. The program you are trying to run requires a current Indeo codec. what is an indeo codec?

Hi Debra, First off, what version of Windows are you running and what program are you using to play your videos?
My first suggestion would be to check that both your version of Windows and the program your using is up to date. For Windows update, click here.
As for what indeo codec is, from what I've read, its basically just a file(s) containing a set of instructions telling that program how to handle that video.

thank you ninko,i managed to sort it out i d/l an indeo codec package from some free codecs website,thank's again for your help,it's nice to know there are people willing to offer help to computer duh's like me!
